Kicked It In Heels and PinkChoseMe are joining forces with Sheila Kelly S Factor to welcome breast cancer survivors to come out and have some fun! We are offering an introductory class at Sheila Kelley S Factor NY. The class will not only be exhilarating but also empowering, a way for women to reconnect with their bodies and their beauty! After the class there will be a workshop with Wellness Coach Ronit Kalman, Acupuncturist Carla Gervasio and an “Ask the Doctor” session for all the questions you were too afraid to ask with Dr. Nina D’Abreo and Dr. Jennifer Lehman.

Come and experience our exhilarating S Factor class and you will understand what all the raves are about. Your introduction to the original pole dance workout for women of every age, shape, size and physical ability is so much fun you won’t even know you’re working out! Your teacher will answer every question you have about the sensational world of S Factor and share a demo dance of this sensual and unique style of movement.

Our all-women studios are dimly lit and have no mirrors. Our community is wholesome, non-judgmental and here to empower you. Just bring your naturally beautiful female self and come play!


About Us:

Ronit Kalman, Ph.D.

Ronit Kalman is a psychologist, a Certified Health Coach and loving mother of two who brings a unique expertise to health coaching and truly lives a Smart Life.

After earning her doctorate in developmental psychology at Rutgers University, she devoted 20 years to research on children’s development and parenting. She is Senior Research Scientist at New York University and a consultant for early intervention programs in NYC for mothers and children.

Ronit received her nutrition and health coaching training at Integrative Nutrition in New York. She then founded Smart Life Health Coaching to marry her deep understanding of human development and lifelong passion for health. Her goal is to help women create lasting changes to their health, energy and well-being.


Carla Gervasio, L.Ac., MSTOM, MS. Ed Master of Science Traditional Oriental Medicine Master of Science Education

Carla is founder of URBAN WELLNESS ACUPUNCTURE, licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in New York, Board Certified by NCCAOM, and member of the Acupuncture Society of New York. Carla’s approach to health integrates best practices from both Eastern and Western medicine in relieving pain, anxiety, insomnia and digestive disorders – in addition, she is a Dermatology Diplomate in treating chronic skin conditions with chinese herbal medicine.


Nina D’Abreo, MD

Dr. D’Abreo is Assistant Professor of Medicine, SUNY at Stony Brook, and attending physician at Winthrop-University Hospital. She serves on the breast cancer advisory committee, which is dedicated to improving all aspects of breast health, and is responsible for developing the breast clinical trials program. Dr. D’Abreo currently serves as the principal investigator of several cooperative group-sponsored breast cancer clinical trials at Winthrop designed for breast cancer prevention, early stage and metastatic breast cancer, and is also initiating local outcomes-based research. She has a particular interest in HER2-positive breast cancer and breast cancer survivorship.


Jennifer Casher Lehman, MD

Dr. Lehman is a fellowship-trained breast specialist. She received her surgical training at New York Presbyterian Medical Center at Columbia University, and at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is a board-certified surgeon with dual board certification in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, School of Medicine and did her undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania. Her clinical interests are in breast screening, and benign and malignant diseases of the breast. Dr. Lehman has authored or coauthored numerous publications, and is active in various societies, including the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the New York Metropolitan Breast Cancer Group, and the American College of Surgeons. She is a recipient of a Humanism-in-Medicine Award and an American Medical Women’s Association Award.
