Sonia Henry, MD is the Assistant Director of Echocardiography and an Attending Cardiologist in the North Shore-LIJ Health System. She is recognized as a “Top Cardiologist” by Consumer’s Research Council of America and was recently an honoree for The Network Journal’s 40 Under Forty Achievement Awards 2014.

Dr. Henry works very closely with Dr. Stacey Rosen at the Katz Institute for Women’s
Health (KIWH) in the development and implementation of the Woman’s Heart Health Program. She has a special interest in Cardio-Oncology and is actively developing and establishing this program in the Woman’s Heart Health Program. Dr. Henry devotes considerable time to raising community awareness about heart disease in women.

Richelle Carey is an Emmy Award-winning television journalist and is currently an anchor at Al Jazeera America in New York City. Prior, in Atlanta, Carey was an anchor at HLN (formerly CNN’s Headline News) where she also served as host of What Matters, a weekly segment focused on African-American topics. Off-camera, Carey is a strong advocate for girls and women and serves as vice president of the board of directors at Men Stopping Violence, an organization whose mission is to end violence against women and girls. She is also a former board member of the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, one of the largest councils in the nation.

Bershan Shaw, Author, Warrior Life coach, Motivational Speaker, Multifaceted entrepreneur and two time Breast Cancer Survivor, Bershan has dedicated her life to helping others embrace their inner warrior during life’s most difficult journeys. Bershan’s warrior odyssey began when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. “I AM NOT ONLY SURVIVING……I AM THRIVING!!”

Determined to be a blessing to others, she started a unique social network support site, URAWarrior.com, designed to inspire others during the most difficult times in their lives. Bershan is seven years cancer free. Bershan is currently on the cast of a reality docu-series “Love in the City”.
