This will be an exclusive opportunity to learn more about breast cancer, our exciting new endeavors, and to continue supporting the survivors who are kicking it in heels!  We are honoring the amazing Breast Surgeon, Dr. Kathie-Ann Joseph for her efforts and dedication to ending healthcare disparities in breast cancer.

Kathie-Ann Joseph, MD, MPH, FACS is an associate professor of surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center, chief of breast services at Bellevue Hospital, chair of Bellevue’s Cancer Center Committee, and co-director of the Beatrice W Welters Breast Health Outreach and Navigation Program.  Dr. Joseph is a graduate of Harvard College and received her medical degree and master’s in public health from Columbia University. She completed her general surgery residency training at NYU Medical Center and her breast surgical oncology fellowship at Columbia University. Her dedication to improving the care of underserved women and eliminating healthcare disparities earned Bellevue Hospital the NAPBC Center of Excellence Accreditation by the American College of Surgeons, the only public hospital in Manhattan to earn this recognition.
