Janna Andrews knew at an early age that she wanted to be a doctor. She attended Princeton University and received a BA in molecular biology. She then went on to attend Temple University School of Medicine, after which she specialized in Radiation Oncology at Emory University. During her training at Emory, Janna was exposed to extremely different patient populations the time spent there truly cemented Janna’s commitment to recognizing and working to solve the prevalence of health care disparities in the field of oncology.

Janna is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology, North Shore LIJ Hofstra University. There she specializes in Breast Cancer, Gynecological Cancer and Gastrointestinal Cancer. Since returning to her home state of New York, Janna started a nonprofit called Kicked It In Heels for breast cancer survivors, which she would describe as her passion. Started four years ago, the impact and significance of Kicked It In Heels has continued to grow.
