Cynthia L. Wood is the founder and president of Soupçon, an event planning and culinary production company. Her clients have included the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society, Habitat for Humanity and Central Park 200th Anniversary; her products have been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine.

In addition, Cynthia has been a member of the University Relations team at Columbia University for the past five years where her responsibilities include production of the Alumni Author Book Fair and the creation of the Alumni Bookshelf. She also serves as the liaison to the university-wide Volunteer Development Committee. Prior to joining Columbia, Cynthia was the East Coast Marketing Consultant for Beth’s Fine Desserts, an award-winning San Francisco based confection company.

Cynthia serves as a trustee of the Garland E. Wood Foundation, which supports education and the arts. She received a BS in International Studies from Marymount College and resides in New York City with her Yorkshire Terrier.
